Postdoctoral Research Associate

The Computational Mechanics of Morphology at Notre Dame (CoMMaND) Lab is soliciting applications for a postdoctoral position in the area of computational modeling and immunomechanics. The CoMMaND Lab is associated with the Department of Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering as well as the Bioengineering Graduate Program.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Postdoctoral applicants should have a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering, bioengineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications: The ideal applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a high level of initiative.  
Candidates with any of the following are preferred: 1) knowledge and experience in immunology and/or immunoengineering; 2) background in computational solid mechanics, particularly poromechanics; 3) proficiency in Abaqus user subroutines; or 4) background in biomechanics or mechanobiology in any organ or system.  Women and minority candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
