CoMMaND Lab Presents at 2025 SB3C Conference

The CoMMaND lab recently presented its research through different talks and posters at the ASME SB3C Summer Bioengineering Conference in Santa Ana Pueblo, NM (June 22-25). 

Throughout the conference, Prof. Holland chaired the 'Cancer Mechanics & Microfluidics' and 'AI and Machine Learning in Biofluids Modeling' sessions. 

Kicking off the week, Karan Taneja, Ph. D., presented "Deep folds in the brain result from cortex pulling on astrocytes: a numerical study".

Cameron Godin then presented "Cortical curvedness patterns alter with volumetric expansion during infancy: a longitudinal analysis". 

Xincheng Wang presented his work on "Discovering the reaction-diffusion equation of neutrophil swarming using physics-informed machine learning".

Masah Abubakr presented past work on "Investigating the effect of different rheological models on the blood flow in a capillary segment"

Niloy and Karan also presented future-faculty posters outlining their research goals in the future. The group is thankful for the opportunity to speak, and excited to present at future events.
